iTunes Music Store Content
I’ve been frustrated lately by Apple and the iTunes Music Store – apparently, even though we live in a digital age on the Internet and all, we still can’t get rid of artificial region limitations.

Mini Review: Gunpey DS
I picked up Gunpey DS yesterday over lunch. It’s a quirky little puzzle game designed by the late Gunpei Yokoi, designer of the original Game Boy and Virtual Boy.

Import Fun
I’ve ordered both Picross DS and Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan! now – it’s a bit pricey to import games, but for these two, I think it will be worth it. It will be especially weird to play Ouendan after already playing Elite Beat Agents.
I’ll post up a mini review of Picross DS when I get it – I’m assuming that anyone who is thinking of buying Ouendan probably has a good idea of what it’s all about.

It's All About EA...
Well, at least this post is. First up is the insane comments EA’s Chris Hecker said at the Game Developer’s Conference yesterday. Does this guy not get it? I mean, yeah the Wii isn’t the technological wonder system – it’s just barely next gen. But, that’s not what gets me – it’s his comments about Nintendo not treating games as an art. Say what?

CompUSA Is Scaling Back
Sometimes I just wonder about the logic some companies use – apparently, CompUSA is going through a restructuring and as a part of that, they are going to close over half of their stores across the country, including 7 of 8 in the Boston area.
Now, sure, I don’t care a lot for CompUSA. They certainly haven’t shown me any love over the past 10 years. But, they did have a purpose – when you needed a “insert random computer item here”, they were very convenient. It certainly didn’t hurt that they were less than a couple of miles from the house. Everytime I went to the place, it certainly had people there – but, admittedly, it didn’t look like they were selling a lot of high end items.

Max Media Dock
Was at the store today, and I came across the Max Media Dock by Datel. I had seen these before, but I hadn’t paid too much attention to them. I’m not really interested in using my DS as a media player. But, something caught my eye – the box said that it supported playing “shareware (homebrew) games”. Now this was new – a NoPass device, along with a CF adapter, readily available in a major nationwide retailer.
