New iPod touch

Just picked up a 16GB iPod touch today at the Apple Store.  Quite a nice little package, though it does leave me wanting a little more.  I’ve just started playing with it, so I can’t comment too much.  I will say that syncing 12GB of music to it takes a bit too long for my taste.  But, that shouldn’t be a problem going forward.

I plan to try jailbreaking it sometime over the weekend, and see how many of the iPhone apps work on it.  I’ll post up another update when I find out more.

BTW – if you happen to be doing development for the iPhone (and now the iPod touch) and you’ve worked with SDL before, you might want to check out the SDL (Dead Link: port) to the iPhone.
